Adobe’s - Acrobat.com (Online Collaboration)
| Adobe has also jumped into the fight with Google, Yahoo and Microsoft through their Acrobat.com. It is a set of online services — file sharing and storage, PDF converter, online word processor, and web conferencin, they say that we can use it to create and share documents, communicate in real time, and simplify working with others. It is free with 5GB of storage.Adobe is leaving nothing to chance and are holding weekly online seminars (45 min each) to introduce its services. |
Are we seriously trying to make the Desktop redundant here with all these providors promoting only storage and sharing. Well, we as end users have a lot to cheer about since we have a loads of options to choose from on the Internet. I like it !!! So all you Adobe fans can go ahead and have a look at it, though still in Beta and a long way to go.
I would like to see the growth of all these service providors in days to come….!!!
